Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog. I know your time is precious so I’ll quickly introduce myself.
I’m Kim Stone – mum of 2, wife, facilitator extraordinaire, planner, career woman, mentor, blogger, business owner, friend, daughter, sister, aunty.
Some of my favourite things are sleep ins (so rare these days!), coffee, dark chocolate, pink oriental lilies and the teachings of Danielle La Porte.
I started this blog after I had settled back into my career post baby (the first time).
Like so many other new mums, I experienced a difficult transition from successful confident career woman to working mum with new doubts and fears about my abilities to have it all.
I learnt so much about myself during this time. My values & priorities shifted and my confidence took a massive hit.
I also learnt a lot about the logistics of having it all and wanted to share my journey and insights with other mums.
I believe every working mum can have it all and make time for everything that matters when they understand what they want and with the right strategies and support to make it happen.
I believe in work life mix – making choices that suit you and your family and reflect your work life ambitions and personal values.
I help working mums all over the world experience personal and professional fulfillment, at home and at work, at the same time.
I help career & business minded mums achieve their work life goals and focus their time and energy on what matters most to them so that they can experience deeper meaning, purpose and fulfillment in all areas of their lives. Find out how I’ve helped other mums (like you) here.
Before kids I was completely devoted to my corporate career. I spent 12 years building my corporate career in a number of senior and leadership positions for corporate organisations, both full time and part time as a new mum. I even received the National Young Planner of the Year Award. (I also met the Honourable Dame Quentin Bryce, who told me my acceptance speech was wonderful! #humblebrag).
I know how challenging being a working mum can be because I’ve experienced so much of it…
emotional daycare drop offs, working part time, the beating your self confidence seems to have taken with the added worries of a being a mum, self doubt, mummy guilt, family sickness, finding time for yourself, feeling unreliable, struggling to get household chores done, finding time for your health, relationships and romance…. the list of challenges and fears can be overwhelming.
I know firsthand the pain and struggle of feeling torn between home and work as a working mum.
But it doesn’t have to be like that for you.
You CAN feel personally and professionally fulfilled as a mum!
I now know that with the right support and strategies in place for you and your family, you CAN have it all.
I can’t wait to share them with you!
